Discover Exclusive Western Canadian Craft Spirits
Prairie Pacific Beverages is a craft spirits sales agency for Western Canada. We help independent distillers expand into Alberta and British Columbia, and help retailers, bars and restaurants discover small-batch spirits made close to home.
Western Canada Reach
With roots in Alberta and a home base on Vancouver Island, we connect producers and buyers in both provinces and understand how each liquor market works.
Curated Selection of Premium Beverages
We represent a small, carefully chosen portfolio of Western Canadian craft spirits, selected for quality, local ingredients and a story customers remember.
Trusted Supplier-Retailer Connections
We build lasting relationships between producers and the stores and venues that carry them, from the first listing through tastings, reorders and new releases.
Western Canada Portfolio
Our portfolio features craft spirits made in Western Canada by independent producers. We add distilleries as we find producers whose products, capacity and values are the right fit. If you are a distiller interested in representation, get in touch.

Premium Spirits and Beverages for Retailers
Two provinces, one approach: local craft spirits, represented by people who know the market.

Alberta Roots
Our founders were born and raised in Alberta. We know the province’s communities, its independent liquor stores and the appetite Albertans have for well-made Western Canadian products.

BC Connection
Based on Vancouver Island, we are close to many of British Columbia’s craft distillers, vintners and brewers, which gives us first-hand knowledge of the producers we represent and how their products are made.

How We Help Craft Distillers Sell in Alberta and BC
Getting a craft spirit onto shelves in another province takes more than a great product. Each market has its own regulator, listing process, pricing structure and logistics. Prairie Pacific Beverages acts as the sales and marketing arm for small-batch producers who want to grow beyond their home market without hiring a sales team in every city.
Market Entry Planning
We review your portfolio, pricing and production capacity, then identify the products most likely to succeed with Alberta and British Columbia retailers and licensees.
Listings and Account Sales
We present your products to private liquor stores, restaurants, bars and hotels, support in-store tastings, and follow up on reorders so your brand stays on the shelf.
Brand Representation
We tell your story, from the farm and the still to the people behind it, in a way buyers understand, supported by sell sheets, samples and point-of-sale material.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a liquor agency do in Alberta?
Alberta has a privatized liquor retail system regulated by Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC). Liquor agencies represent producers in that market. They handle product registration and pricing submissions, call on retailers and licensees, and support marketing, while products are warehoused and distributed through the province’s licensed liquor supply system.
How is selling spirits in British Columbia different?
In British Columbia, the BC Liquor Distribution Branch (BCLDB) is the wholesaler for most liquor, and products reach consumers through BC Liquor Stores, private liquor stores and licensed restaurants and bars. BC craft distilleries also have options to sell directly to some accounts. We help producers decide which route makes sense for each product.
What kinds of producers do you work with?
We work with independent craft distillers from Western Canada, especially producers who use local ingredients and have the capacity to supply a second province. We are also open to conversations with small-batch vintners and brewers.
Do you sell directly to the public?
No. Prairie Pacific Beverages works with producers, liquor retailers and licensed establishments. To buy a product we represent, visit a participating liquor store or the producer’s own website.
Which areas do you cover?
We focus on Alberta, including Calgary, Edmonton and surrounding communities, and British Columbia, from Vancouver Island to the Lower Mainland.
